5.0 out of 5 stars Tradition at it's best. 4 Mar 2014

I bought this book to replace my original copy that was lost. I've made many of the recipes over the years and not one has failed. I have a large selection of preserving books now but this is still my favourite.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enchanting Recipes for Preserving Foods 30 Dec 2009
By Ann W. Kelly - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
The vintage photographs alone are worth the purchase of this small cook book. In addition, recipes for everything from chutneys to curds and flavored vinegars are provided along with "how-to" tips handed down from past generations. This book will stimulate the reader to put on an apron and bring out those long-stored canning jars and bottles.
