Product Description

Product Description

Sequel to National Lampoon's Vacation has the Griswalds winning a trip to Europe, but contrary to their expectations, it is not a luxurious, all-expenses-paid kind of trip, but rather a cut-price, economy deal which takes them to some of the Old World's seedier locations. Of course, it's not long before they are caught up in all manner of misadventures.

Product Description

The first time the Griswald family took a trip - in 'National Lampoon's Vacation' - moviegoers everywhere went along for the ride... and went bonkers! Now the Griswald's are back, bags packed, for 'National Lampoon's European Vacation,' a disaster-prone tour that's just as funny as the first. Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo return as all-American Clark and Ellen Griswald, who with teenage offspring Rusty and Audrey, win a deluxe European tour. Ecstatic Clark plans a getaway jammed with forced family togetherness, two weeks sure to become a treasure trove of golden Griswald memories. Will hapless Clark ever learn? For the Griswalds, it's a typical holiday road havoc. For you, it's the high road to hilarity!

If you were lucky enough to see the first, and found it side splittingly funny, then you'll find this one even better. The worlds stupidest family are back, and watch out Europe there coming your way. follow the family as they take europe by storm in the only way they know how,DESROYING EVERYTHING. If there was ever a sequel funnyier than its original, its this. Sit back, enjoy and get ready to laugh your socks off, Clarke is back!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pig in a Poke, now thats a thought! 25 May 2000

Where do I start? This is the second outing for the dimwitted Grizwold family, and what a trip. Audrey and Rusty are a fine example of the model American kid.Chase, the man is a comedy demi god, plays the role so well you would think he was a clueless as his character. This is one of his greatest roles ever, just edging out Fletch Lives and Caddy Shack in the ratings. A close second to C Thomas Howell. If you like this film you will love Side out. Watch it now! Take a step down the holiday Road, get down to the Wezza soon.

4.0 out of 5 stars Europe may never be the same 6 Mar 2010
By falcon
in this installment of the Vacation franchise the Griswald clan head to Europe, and fun times ensue, especially for the viewer.i thought so any way.i found this second film in the series to be just as funny as the first, which is a pleasant surprise since more often than not a sequel generally goes down in quality from the original.there's one pretty funny running gag,and the jokes are all funny, although sometimes you can see them coming a mile away.but it doesn't matter because they're so funny.this one came out in 1985,and like the first movie, this one stands the test of time.lets hope it stands up to repeated viewings.for me,European Vacation is a 4/5

5.0 out of 5 stars Just keeps getting funnier! 12 July 2001
Format:VHS Tape
I absolutely love this video, plus the Christmas and Wally World Vacation films. Chevy Chase is hilarious and if you think your Dad is embarrassing, just think again. During this particular vacation to Europe, the Griswalds get into some tricky situations and come across an array of strange people. This piece of comic genius deserves a 5 star rating!

A most entertaining film, showing once again why Britain should quit the EU!! I prefer the Christmas Vacation, but European Vacation comes a close second.
