Format:Blu-ray
It goes without saying a classic christmas movie. But why hasn't this Blu-ray been restored and given 5.1 surround sound? That's why it's so cheap! As a blu-ray title only 2 stars as a movie 5.

Format:Blu-ray
This classic is trotted out faithfully every Christmas in our household and familiarity just improves the experience. Although bordering on slapstick, Chevy Chase is just hapless enough to be believable. Who has not shared his experience of looking for that rogue bulb which is stopping the set from working but, of course, in his case he does not do things by halves - it is the entire house that is covered so it really is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
So top marks for the film. However, the Blu Ray DVD is another matter. Having got an LED TV and a Blu Ray player, we bought the Blu Ray version, expecting to be totally wowed. Frankly it was very hard to discern any difference between this and the regular version. So my advice would be, if you have not seen it the film is a real treat, but save yourself some money and buy the regular rather than the Blu Ray Version.

The best Christmas movie of all time,... now on Blu-ray..... can it get any better!!!!.... Didnt think so. If you have never seen this, then the best part of Christmas is still to come,.... you HAVE to have this. This is as much a part of Christmas in our house, as the tree,.. the decorations or anything else. If you have seen it then watch it this Christmas... and the next one,.. and the next, and the next......

Great Christmas Fun and Frolics!
Although we have seen this many times we bought the blu ray version and makes watching even better. An old classic that will always be watched at Christmas!
