First, let me say that in no way do I hold Amazon responsible for the failure of this item, the voucher itself arrived promptly.
The item was bought as a Christmas present for my seven year old daughter, on 15 March she STILL has not received one copy of the magazine.
The problems started when I attempted to redeem the voucher and set up the subscription. I have now attempted to activate the subscription online on three occasions and via the telephone number on five occasions. I have spoken to staff on the 'phone helpline so many times that I now recognise their voices.
Each time I have spoken to them I have been promised that someone would call me back within 24 hours, I have never received a call back. I have had promises that the magazine would arrive in January, February and March.
Today I was told that the April edition has sold out and my daughter will have to wait until April to receive the May edition.
I am furious, the 'phone line staff are obviously embarrassed about the dreadful service and I realise they are not to blame but as a customer I cannot believe how badly this company is letting down children.
If I had realised just how much time and stress was going to be involved I would have asked a newsagent to order the magazine for me and made a voucher myself.
AVOID !!
