The Explorer kit includes binoculars, compass, torchlight and magnifier to help children investigate their immediate outdoor surroundings.

A magnetic compass includes a protective fold-down cover, aperture, sight-wire and peep-sight which can be used for general direction finding as well as orienteering.
Look at distant objects 4 times closer than when seen by unaided eyes with the 4x 30mm binoculars. A built-in compass can be used to take direction bearings and the strap has a safety 'breakaway' feature.
If it gets dark, use the torchlight with it's bright, extreme long life and shock-resistant LED light source. It has a rubberised hand-grip and a clip ring secures the torch to a backpack or belt.
Included is an instruction manual with a series of cutout Nature Quiz cards to entertain and educate.

Ordered two of these (for twins). Although the header says 'contents may vary', I was expecting, at the very least, a pair of binoculars in each set as the product description states, three times no less, that contents include a 4 x 30mm pair of binoculars. Alas, neither sets contained anything of real value to a 'little adventurer'. The multi-toy is particularly flimsy and is unlikely to survive more than two minutes of play. Altogether, a most disappointing item, packaged under a well-known and trusted brand name whose quality-control team must have had a day-off...

I have bought this product for my son. Unfortunately the product is of very poor quality - next to junk quality.

Extremely poor quality toy
This was bought for my sons 6 birthday, do not buy it. Water bottle had a leek in. Not much better than a cracker toy apart from the scale.
