If you are thinking of travelling to the Canadian Rockies and the National parks of Banff and Jasper then look no further than this guide for help in planning your trip. An excellent well laid out publication which gives easy to read information on places to visit etc. We have gained a lot from reading the book and planned our trip accordingly. Top job.

An easy reference to the canadian rockies

I ordered this book for its' ease of reading and how it highlights the best things to do and see when you have a limited amount of time. The information is up to date and the book offers suggestions on places to eat, stay and making the most of your trip. Like all of the travel for dummies books, this one did not disappoint.

This is quite a good book for do it yourself people. For us I was looking for tour information, both day tours and ones of several days, so for us it was disappointing that it didn't cover this as well.

This book is OK, with some useful information. So far I've just been browsing through it, reading parts, I'd give it a fair to good. My wife and I are plannign a trip to the Candadian Rockies later this summer and will take this book along...I may change my opinion after that...we'll see.
