Natalie Wood at her most alluringly beautiful in six of her best pictures from 1957 - 1965. Entertaining, gripping movies, great cast altogether. Get this one!

Amazon Verified Purchase
This is worth owning for 'Gypsy' alone, presented here in the original aspect ratio. You'll also have 'Splendour in the Grass', which is superb, deeply engaging, and with a beautiful music score; also 'Inside Daisy Clover', which features Natalie giving it her best accompanied by a great Andre Previn score. The weakest film is 'Sex and the Single Girl', not a patch on Doris Day and Rock Hudson, but 'Cash McCall and 'Bombers B52' are very watchable.
The movies are beatufully presented, blemish-free in their original ratios. The extras are odd: Looney Tunes from the same year as the movies. A shame there wasn't any relevant material, then this boxed set would be even better,
If you're a natlie Wood fan, you shouldn't think twice aboyt getting this. If you're just browsing and have a little money burning a hole in your pocket, treat yourself! 'Gypsy' is tremendous fun, and 'Splendour in the Grass' is very moving.

I'm from Texas,and I've been ordering from Amazon for several years. In the late spring, I ordered an all region DVD player. I am so glad I did! In the US, the Natalie Wood Boxset is fairley expensive, but not in the UK. Of course, I have to check every time. Sometimes something is cheaper over here. I am so proud of this collection. It is in perfect condition. The movies are wonderful. I love the UK!

How many discs?
Has anyone bought this? I had pre-ordered this boxset, but cancelled it, as I am worried about it saying only FOUR discs for SIX films, which in the US are on one disc each. Read more
