Synopsis
The Natal Hypnotherapy Programme has been designed to be easy to use, to fit in around your busy schedule and to be extremely powerful in helping you have a positive pregnancy and birth experience. By using the full programme, you are giving yourself the best chance to practice and experience using these powerful techniques without having to go on a course to to see an individual hypnotherapist. It is a three step programme which builds your skills, abilities and confidence in your body. Step 1. From 6 - 30 Weeks. The Pregnancy Relaxation CD is a wonderful introduction to using self Hypnosis and teaches you relaxation and breathing techniques. Step 2. From 31 weeks onwards begin listening to the Birth preparation CD (either the home or hospital version). This builds on the relaxation and breathing techniques learned in step 1 and leads you into preparing for the birth Step 3. During the birth It is Ok to use the birth preparation CD during the very early stages of labour. However, once the sensations become more "serious" then use the relaxing birth music CD. This has the same background music as the above CDs. The music itself acts as a powerful trigger for relaxation, as subconsiously, every time you have heard the music before you would have entered a deeply relaxed state. Step 4. The Fast Post Natal recovery CD can be listened to in the last week of pregnancy and then as often as possible in the first few weeks after the birth.

My wife bought the natal programme when she was about 5 months pregnant. At first I was very sceptical but she felt it would really help her. She had had a really hard time with our first child and she wanted to have a natural birth this time. I was not sure that just listening to a set of CDs would really make any difference, but I listened to the CDs a couple of times with her and have to admit that I found that I actually enjoyed them and felt more chilled about the birth. When it came to it she was amazing during the birth. She stayed so calm and coped brilliantly. She did not need any pain relief and seemed to be much more in control. She is sure that the CDs helped her enormously. I felt like I could help her as I used a lot of the words from the CD and the music only CD really helped keep the atmosphere really calm.
For any one who is not sure or is sceptical, I would definitely recommend you give them a go. They are easy to use, you do not have to “do” or learn anything and they really helped us.

I used the Natal Hypnotherapy CDs for the births of my last two babies. Prior to that I hated being in labour and was really worried about it. However, the meditations not only kept me totally calm throughout the labour and births of my youngest two boys, I didn't need any pain relief either. I can honestly say I enjoyed both of these births and cannot recommend this system highly enough.

This was the best thing I bought when I was pregnant - like most people I did wonder how listened to a CD could really help with the birth but they sure did. I found that, even though I had been scared of having a baby, listening to the CDs helped me feel much more confident and relaxed about the whole thing. I really loved the visualisation and it was brill to spend time chilling out knowing that I was doing something positive for the birth. The birth was really quick and the midwife almost missed it.
Rupert is such a calm baby and I am sure that he benefited from listening to the CDs. Please try it for yourself - it made such a difference to me

Almost didn't work for me
The only disc from the whole programme which worked for me was Pregnancy Relaxation disc. Helped me to relax and have some rest during my late pregnancy. Read more

I can't recommend this series strongly enough to anyone who's pregnant, it's brilliant! It's especially useful if you're anxious about the birth and/or want a natural birth. Read more
