the "trio years" are tops on this fans list 7 Dec 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
this CD gets played more than any other CD in my entire collection of music. There is something wonderful about hearing JUST Nat singing and playing piano, with only a guitar and bass to back him up. Simply incredible. This collection contains a classic rendition of "The Christmas Song", and I say 'classic' because I feel it cannot be improved upon. It's as good as it gets.

This is a work of art Nat at his best. This CD features primarily music from Nat's early years and well before my time. It also proves Nat was a great pianist as well as a great vocalist. This CD is wonderful and a timeless classic.
