Product Description

Product Description

The first half of Volume 27 covers the end of Part One of Naruto. We catch up on all the ninja's that took part in the Sasuke Retrieval mission, and we find out what all our favourite ninja's plan to do over the two and a half years before the time-skip. Part One then ends with a chilling image of what is to come in Part Two. The second half, however is what makes this book unique. It covers the story of how Kakashi got his Sharingan. A heartbreaking and yet deep insight into how Kakashi's personality was shaped to be what it is now.

5.0 out of 5 stars End of Part One & Intermission, 6 Nov 2009

(TOP 500 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
Volume twenty-seven of the Naruto manga sees the end of the first part of the Naruto story with part two beginning in Volume 28. The first part of the volume deals with the aftermath of the failed mission to retrieve Sasuke with the various characters from the series deciding what to do now and moving on with their training.

The second half of the volume is taken up with the `Kakashi Chronicles' story which details Kakashi's history and his actions during the Third Ninja War. This is a good story that finally sheds some light on the past and character of one of the most interesting characters in the Naruto series.

The first part of the Naruto manga has been very good and is definitely a must read series and part two only gets better.

5.0 out of 5 stars naruto 27, 11 Jan 2009
the 27th book in the naruto saga is simpaly the best, not only becouse it tell the story of why kakashi has the shaingan eye and ends the chase for sasuke, but becouse it is the last book in naruto's (and the others of naruto's age) childhood. The book also sets the ground work for how the young ninjas will turn out.

very good, a real must have for ANY naruto fan.
