4.0 out of 5 stars Naruto in training 8 July 2011
By T. R. Alexander TOP 1000 REVIEWER VINE VOICE
Format:Paperback
After his confrontation with Sasuke, Naruto realises how far he still has to go in order to keep up with his former friend and so, with the help of Kakashi, begins to train even harder in an attempt to develop his own unique jutsu. Meanwhile the Akatsuki begin to make their move to hunt down the Jinchûriki, beginning with the two and three Tailed Beasts.

This thirty-fifth volume of the `Naruto' manga is something of a breather volume that spends much of its time setting things up for the next arc. The volume introduces two new Akatsuki members, the devout Hidan and the bounty hunter Kakuzu, both of whom are interesting and have dynamic to their partnership. The volume also has some funny moments between Tobi and Deidara, and some quite nice training sequences for Naruto.

5.0 out of 5 stars This series makes our 11 y/o WANT to read! 7 Feb. 2015
By Vanessa J. Ramos - Published on Amazon.com

Our 11 y/o is finally enjoying to read because of these books. I haven't the slightest clue as to what they are about, but he sure does and he loves them. No more fighting to get him to complete his 1 hour of mandatory reading/day. Often times, he can put the books down ( I am slowly buying him the monster collection of Naruto books that he has wanted.

Perfect condition, I usually get small nicks on the spine or a small bend in the cover (those drive me crazy) but this book came to me shiny, unharmed. A true hot of the press condition.
