What makes a true narcissist? Do YOU have the trait?

As you cross the street, you are highly likely to come across a narcissist, and this would only mean one thing: they are common. Of course, there are two sides of the same coin when it comes to this type of personality.

There is the captivating individual who can be an inspiration to many, once you look past the vanity. And then there is the artful and short-tempered narcissist who suffers from so much self-love that he cannot accept the fact that not everyone agrees with him. Nevertheless, it is best to get to know more about this interesting phenomenon or disorder – whichever way you view it to be – and learn how to handle anybody in your life who is a narcissist.

This book will provide you with all the information that you will ever need to understand narcissism and the narcissistic personality disorder. Here you be able to know how to identify someone who is a narcissist (or if you possibly are one yourself), read up on ideas about whether this is a good or a bad thing (or a little bit of both) and how to control the self one is narcissistic.

Narcissism has become an increasingly controversial and popular topic due to the rise of media that promote this type of behaviour. This book seeks to open up the mind of a narcissist and let you peek into it and see what’s going on.

After all, now that more and more individuals are regularly posting “selfies” (short for self portraits usually taken with a camera) and boasting about their accomplishments on the internet, could it be that Narcissism has become a norm? It is amazing what you can learn from the mind of a narcissist.

You will find many new discoveries within yourself and the society once you have read this book.

1.0 out of 5 stars very basic 24 Feb 2014

This is basically a basic student essay put into paperback form. I learned nothing new from it, and even from the standpoint of an entertaining read it failed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Narcissism Explained 26 Mar 2014
By James Irwin - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I appreciated the fact this was not some medical text book on narcissism. I was looking for a short and informative read and found this one to provide me with what I needed to know. We all have met a narcissistic person or potentially work with some and this book provides some insight into the inner workings of a narcissist. If you are looking for a simple book on a complex personality trait I would give this book a try.

5.0 out of 5 stars Learn from the Narcissist 11 Dec 2013
By Carl - Published on Amazon.com

Narcissists are hilarious. A lot of times, the narcissists that I come across (my young peers) their father comes across as a bit arrogant. It's definitely in the genes and in the upbringing, so it's hard to feel sorry for them. But you don't have to feel sorry because they love them some them!
