This 3DVD collection is another production from the History of Warfare series, and does an excellent job of informing the viewer about the following Napoleonic campaigns:-
1. Austerlitz 1805, in which Napoleon smashed the armies of Austria and Russia in what is said to be his greatest victory.
2. Napoleon 1812, which documents the invasion of Russia. the battle of Borodino, and the dreadful retreat from Moscow which followed.
3. The Battle of Waterloo 1815, Napoleon's final defeat by an Allied British/Belgian army led by the Duke of Wellington.
It should be made clear however that these three programmes have all been published seperately already and are simply being remarketed together under a new cover. That said, if you haven't already bought them this collection is both very informative and highly entertaining.Napoleon [DVD]

This DVD 3 pack from Pegasus Entertainment is simply wonderful. If you ever wanted to find out who Napoleon Bonaparte was, or what made him famous, this is the DVD to buy. I was unable to even find a review for this with Google. Just goes to prove how good they can be - the worlds best search engine? Don't make me laugh!!
The history cantent is very well done, with lots of footage from various sources, combining to bring you the definitive story on this remarkable French man. If you can find a better DVD than this 3 pack, I'll be very interested in hearing from you.

As a pack this is reasonable VFM (3 titles in the pack). The content, though informative, is not very well presented. A budget effort I think.
