An interactive mystery-adventure game, Nancy Drew: Danger on Deception Island puts players in the shoes of teenage super-sleuth Nancy Drew as she investigates a string of mysterious events on Deception Island and in the sea caves and waters that surround it.

When George’s friend, Katie Firestone, invites Nancy to Deception Island in the San Juan Islands of the Pacific Northwest for a whale-watching excursion, the sleuth arrives to find Katie’s tour boat heavily vandalized. A threatening note warns Katie to "stop meddling." As Nancy investigates, she learns that the town of Snake Horse Harbor is up in arms over an orphaned female orca whale that recently appeared in the channel and has apparently decided to stay. No one has yet figured out what pod she’s from, and it seems that everyone has a different idea of what should be done about her. But one person seems to stand in way of everyone's plans: a meddling Katie Firestone! As Nancy begins to question her allies, a simple vandalism case begins to unfold into something more mysterious… and sinister.

This game was on par with The Secret of Shadow Ranch. The graphics were fantastic - the sound of the ocean was so realistic, you could almost smell the salty air! I loved the fact that you had to use a certain modes of transport and that a great deal of time was spent exploring the great outdoors. The interaction between characters and, one in particular, was fantastic fun.

This was a really great game, and I would highly recommend it - great puzzles, great setting, wonderful sound effects/music, lots of secrets to discover and packed full of some very interesting information too.

I enjoyed it so much, I played it twice - first as a Senior and then as a Junior - a few good Easter Eggs too.

If you haven't been on a beach holiday recently, this is the next best thing!

i spent ages enjoying this game.i have played quite a few of this series of N.D and this was one of the best.good graphics,plenty of puzzles to tax your brain and nice scenery. i would recommend this for anyone of any age to enjoy.

No technical problems whatsoever.
Good graphics and sound.
I was quite content with this game. The puzzles are of mixed difficulty between easy and medium/hard. They are hard enough that you will have to think a bit, but not mind breaking or without some logic. ND puzzles are for the most part pretty logical. My only complaints are 1.) the conversations can't be skipped,even if you heard it before, and 2.) the game length was a little shorter than other ND games.
