Excellent video with a remarkable and memorable concert of our beloved Greek singer !!
Highly recommended for someone who are a real fan of Nana Mouskouri.
I suggest the use of this product as a gift for someone who loves fine songs of all times, a beautiful voice and the music of high quality like "O sole mio", a surprise in her repertoire.
We see a strong Nana in a unique performance as usual, at her very best. She sings in English, in Spanish, in Italian, in French, in German and of course, in Greek. She tells us some details of her artistic life and she receives an award. What a beautiful souvenir of that concert !! Before the concert we see many photos taken during her long career not only as a singer in different countries and years but also as a member of the European Parliament and as a UNICEF ambasadress.
Nana Mouskouri is a living worldwide legend.Don't miss this DVD or Blu-ray disc.
I bought both products, one for watching many times and the other one to stock for the future.
Highly recommended is the CD (international version) called "Nana Mouskouri and friends. Rendez-vous".

This DVD is a recording of a concert from the Farewell World Tour which Nana embarked on , taking her round the world and ending in a Final Concert in front of her own people in the Herodes Atticus Theatre in Athens.
This recording in the Royal Albert Hall was produced by Yvonne Littlewood who produced all the shows Nana did with the BBC in former years.
For anyone who is a fan of this great singer the DVD portrays exactly what you would expect . Her warmth and grace and dignity self apparent as she takes the audience through her career in words and song.
This is a lovely record of a star with a unique talent.

This DVD was a fantastic piece of entertainment. For fans of Nana it is an opportunity to see her preform for the last time at the Albert hall, a venue that she entertained in many times very successfully. It is clear that this woman love to sing and loves music and she clearly is enjoying the show. I have no problem in recommending this DVD, its a pity there are not DVD's of her earlier concerts.

Having seen Nana several times over the years, we just missed her final concert in Rhodes, and then found out to late to get tickets for her very final one in Athens, the Royal Albert Hall one on this DVD we were away on holiday 'but thanks to this release we can enjoy it now albeit five years after the event. Having also now got the Athens one on DVD as well (highly recommended as she performs many Greek songs associated with her career in the wonderful Herod atticus by the side of the Acropolis, by the way this is also available though Amazon). The RAH set is different as she still performs some Greek favourites but also includes songs such as the beautiful opening of Amazing Grace, Love Changes Everything, songs from the motives her mother used to sing around the house, her father was a projectionist at a movie theatre, songs from the UK, Germany, France, Italy , USA all included in a wonderful over two hour performance in front of a very enthusiastic audeience. The band are simply superb throughout, her voice full of that breathtaking beauty sahe has always had. The opening of the concewrt sees a montage of photos of her career, the her band play a piece before she comes on stage ,for this her final concert visit to Britain. It's said she has sold more records world wide than any other artist, that is amazing but with a voice this good it's only right.we'll miss her but this DVD gives us the chance whenever we feel like it to enjoy her magical voice anytime we feel like it. Highly Recommended !

I was one of the lucky ones who attended the concert in October 2007. I have been waiting for the product to be released. Why did it take 5 years? The concert is here in its entirety, no editing as far as I can remember. It was a lovely evening and it was so nice to hear Nana chat with the fans about her career and musical memories. All the songs you expect to hear were done with of course some surprises. Nana has not had a lot of chart success in the UK so it does give her the advantage of singing whatever material she fancies, to a certain extent. The hall was packed and had a wonderful atmosphere, the recording done by the BBC, quite worthy of them, well done. Sound and vision excellent. The only thing I don't like about the DVD is the rather bland black and white cover with not much inside only the disc. I would have thought that a picture book souvenir with lots of photos and concert notes would have been worthwhile. However it is well worth buying for any Nana Mouskouri fan. I am sure Nana would be delighted with the result

Nana’s Farewell Concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall is beautifully captured on this DVD. I can only reiterate the comments from the all the other reviews posted.
A powerful performance showcasing Nana’s amazing diverse talent that has spanned five decades, Nana has sold 350 million records worldwide making her one of the best female artists of all time. Her record company making a presentation to her on stage in recognition for her outstanding achievement – the production encapsulates an evening highly charged with emotion and love - Simply superb!
