Gun Valkyrie is set in a world much like our own, in a time much like the 19th century. A lone scientist, Dr Hebble, is able to make a string of incredible technological breakthroughs but these advances accelerate beyond his intentions. The result is a revolutionary form of energy that, once harnessed, could propel mankind into a new era or lead to complete annihilation.
With the government's assistance, a group of scientists is able to form Gun Valkyrie, an organisation bent on protecting these new breakthroughs and policing their use. When Dr Hebble suddenly disappears and a host of nightmarish creatures appear, the Gun Valkyrie unit is called in to retrieve the scientist, destroy the vile creatures and return order to the world by force.

This is one of the most challenging games that i ever played. You have to master the controls to advance in the game however this is not easy. The left analog stick controls the movement, and the right one control the aiming. The triggers are used for boosting and fire. The way you deal with this wil make you love or hate the game. If you like challenging games, this is the game for you, otherwise i advise to play it first.

Gun Valkyrie is a compelling game of running around and shooting a lot of spiders. Sounds dull, not quite. Along with shooting Spiders there are a variety of characters, weapons and some very good stunts with your jet pack. Still unsure? Try playing some of the levels, they are very difficult. The visuals and sounds of Gun Valkyrie are second to none. The 3rd person view can quite often become quite annoying as the spiders can attack from all angles and it is very hard to turn. The game is also quite easy and boring in parts but give it time and it does get better. It is slightly repetitive and it doesn't have much of a replay value. If you don't mind playing games and then trading them in then this is the perfect game for you. If not try renting it...

Well its not often that i feel i must put down in words how i feel about computer games in general, but here goes..
I played the original Dreamcast version of Jet Set Radio and i loved it, even though i did not finnish it. Then when Jet Set Radio Future came for X-box it was one of the first titles that i bought.. played and finnished .....and loved..
So when Gun Valkyrie came out i thought to myself to check it our since Smilebit who made the game seem to me know what playabilty and fun means in a game..
Initially the controls are a bit tricky but hell yeah...you better master them cause you are going to have to learn them in order to play this game. I would just like to say that this game is pure fun and its a wonder to look at....PURE ENTERTAINMENT...
