My 4 year old daughter has wanted a hello kitty game for the wii since christmas so i was happy to see one was being released. I waited to buy it so i could read some reviews but daddy gave in before any were published!
Even though the game is rated a 3, it is more suited to a child that can read well as there is a lot of reading involved. I thought there would be a menu to play the 'mini games' on their own but there isn't. You play them as you progress on your quests i.e. travelling across Sanrio to meet Hello Kiyttys mum ect. Even then you only get one chance to play the game then you get given another quest. You can play the mini games on multiplayer though.
This game is better suited to the older hello kitty fan!

This game is about helping others, friendship, making money and obsessive collecting. It's a lot like Animal Crossing with mini-games but with Sanrio's super cute characters instead of snarky grumpy neighbours. Unfortunately, it crashes fairly often and eventually glitched in such a way it could no longer be played.
Pros:
* Very cute
* Contains some full episodes of CGI Hello Kitty to watch (unlockable, fun!)
* Most of the mini games are pretty fun
Cons:
* Lots of glitches
* Crashes quite often
* A lot of the mini games don't earn much money, so I found myself repeatedly replaying one game (a UFO catcher crane game) to make money - which made the game feel more limited than it ought to.
Details:
My game got itself into a pickle. Choco (the little black cat) gave me a task to complete, and he started following me, then the game froze up (as it had done many times during my playthrough). I restarted the game and Choco had disappeared from the game. Going to the place indicated by the compass didn't progress the game as it should have. Choco reappeared when I took a bus ride, but his quest can't be completed. I was then given another quest - to interview Choco - but he can't be interviewed while following me. So I can't go any further in the game unless I start over from scratch, but when it crashes as often as it does, I don't feel like persevering.
Overall:
Very disappointing. I can't recommend it because it crashes so much.

hello kitty really should stop makinggames as they are rubbish and boring cant keep kids entertained i wouldnt buy another hello kitty game again even half price

Cute Game
My 9 year old sister got this game for christmas and loves it. She plays it all the time, and weve never had any crashing problems mentioned by another reviewer.
