This band, who were SUPERB both at songwriting and at performing their songs were sadly overlooked bar their big hit "Independent Love Song". This album, as well as their follow-up "Chemistry" is absolutely stunning, especially "Moonstruck" which has the most amazing powerful yet breakable vocals I've heard in a LONG time! If you appreciate a mix of upbeat and sentimental songs, I cannot recommend this CD enough. It's pure class - bless them.

I first saw scarlet by chance as they were a support act for Wet Wet Wet at the Gmex in Manchester. They were new, a little nervous but they were a breath of fresh air. The single Independent love song had just been released and had done well in the charts, this they played along with many more superb punchy pop songs nothing more nothing less. Although the Wets were good my lasting memories were that of Scarlet with all their energy. I left the concert with one main thought I must buy their album. I did and I wasn't disappointed. The style varies throughout the album. My personal favorites are 'Virgin', 'Man in a cage' and 'I really like the idea'. My mate Bri has recently been introduced to the album and is sold!!!
