Nag Nag Nag is a welcome reissue, despite being as old as Eddie Cohran punk like the Sex Pistols it sounds like a future that was never quite realised. There is a trendy electroclash mix, but personally I prefer the original- which is as great as anything by their New York peers Suicide.
There is nothing quite like this single- which is up there with later classics like Do the Mussolini, Yashar, Just Fascination , Sensoria & Don't Argue. This is a taster for the Nova Mute compilation of early prime Cabs- confusingly called The Original Sound of Sheffield. That would be a wiser purhcase, as instead of remixes you get other great songs and their cover of the Velvets Here She Comes Now.
Nag Nag Nag is surely one of the finest pop songs of all time.
EVER!!!!
