When I first received this item I though it was great and put forward a good review.

However, after three months there are several irritating faults:

1. CD Player function: the player will not play many of my CDs all the way through and starts to 'skip around'
towards the end of CDs;
2. I really struggled to get decent FM Radio reception from this unit, even though all my other FM radios pick
up a strong signal. Apparently this can be sometimes be due to poor earthing of the aerial?
3. Audible movement of the laser mechanism is quite noticeable on quieter music tracks;
4. The speakers vibrate far too easily even on a mid volume setting.

I wouldn't buy this item again nor recommend it to anyone!

Took a chance on this as there was only one review. It's not terrible but it's only okay. The sound quality on the radio is variable, even in an area where I always get great reception. The volume is not great and the controls are ridiculously confusing. When you turn the stereo on it doesn't come on immediately - you have to wait until it writes its own name in the little window. This very irritating if you are waiting to retune as you have to hang around for it. The programming doesn't seem to stick very well and often I turn it on to static, as if it has lost the programmed station I was listening to.
I have yet to get the MP3 connection working.
The plug it was supplied with was FEEBLE and dangerous, and I threw it out and used one from an old printer.
In its favour, it looks good but I would never buy another one, and for the price I feel it's quite poor.
