If you haven't heard of this artist, this CD is a must. Dobet Gnahore is a revelation - an African songstress of the same calibre as Miriam Makeba but for a new era.
I strongly recommend her.

Dobet Gnahore turns in another stunning set 6 Jan 2011

We saw Dobet Gnahore at WOMAD this year (last year now!) and thought she was the standout act. This CD confirms just how great she is, though we did miss her superb athleticism and dance skills. Buy it now.....

If you haven't already heard of the brilliant Dobet Gnahore, then listen to this. Traditional African music with an edge, Dobet's music and song has energy, rhythm and beauty. Not to be missed.
