Product Description
Synopsis
Granta has become the publisher of the British Council's annual anthologies of new writing, which showcase the best in fiction, non-fiction and poetry from established and up-and-coming writers in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Commonwealth. This new selection has been chosen by the novelists, Bernardine Evaristo and Maggie Gee. As this catalogue goes to press, Evaristo and Gee have still to make their final judgements, but some of the best names in English writing are sure to be included - as well as the delight of the new. The last volume included Kirsty Gunn, Michel Faber, Marina Warner, Romesh Gunesekera, Hermione Lee and Esther Freud. It is published in association with the British Council.
