At last, a DS in a colour other than all black that doesnt look girlie! The DS is great but the case is a very tight fit and tricky to put the DS in/ take out without damaging the on/off & volume switches that protrude slightly. If you feel the need to use the case, put the DS in & leave it in. No problems with the charger lead as appeared on a review for the similar scarlet & black DS.

This is not a UK model DS. The seal on the box had been broken and the official charger had been replaced with a cheap Chinese UK type charger. The manual makes reference to Nintendo of Canada. No where in the advertising does it state that this is not a UK model DS. The back of the charger came off when removing it from the socket. The build quality of this charger is diabolical, I consider it extremely dangerous and there's no way I can give this to my son.

Until I saw this range, the DS Lite looked too childish for me to be seen out with one. Those flat lime green, matt white and pink units were never going to find their way into my hand luggage ! This one, however, is perfectly respectable and now means I can play games outside the house ! On the train, plane, bus and even in the library (with headphones on) it's really no different to having a large mobile handset ! Fun gaming for adults is here at last !
