Fastest Respoding Digital SLR In Its Very Surprising Price Range

I do not own this camera (yet). I have however been lucky enough to use one. I could not believe that a digital camera had instant shutter response. My camera must have shutter button pressed half-way to be ready
to grab a fast shot. If you just aim and shoot, you miss the shot!
The D40 does not cause you these problems. I've been saving my nickles and dimes to get my hands on one ASAP. Then I'll save some more for the longer lenses. It takes me back to my old Honeywell Pentax days of film and SLRs.
