These measuring cups are really great. AS I WAS TRYING TO LOOSE SOME WEIGHT I MEASURE THE AMOUNT OF FOOD TO HAVE ON MY PLATE AND I AM PROUD TO SAY I HAVE LOST 7LBS.

"Melamine is harmhul if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin. Chronic exposure may cause cancer or reproductive damage. Eye, skin & respiratory irritant. ...Ingestion of melamine may lead to reproductive damage, or bladder or kidney stones, which can lead to bladder cancer. ...Melamine is combined with FORMALDEHYDE to produce melamine resin, a very durable thermosetting plastic..."

Do a search for "melamine tableware causes"

The migration of melamine and formaldehyde from the plastic into the food increases with temperature and acidity.

In my opinion these products should be banned immediately.
