The first of PUT's offerings in a fantastic trilogy of albums containing this, `Questions in the Form of an Answer', and `OST, this is straight up fresh, the beats are tight, laced with funk and jazz, while the MCing is fantastic and Double K on the decks throws in some nice cuts and samples as well. This isn't a hard album to listen to, and you can easily have this on in the background at a party, but if you give it time, it just gets better and better. `Mid-City Fiesta' and `San Francisco Knights' are two of the outstanding tracks, but you'll be hard pressed to find one you don't like on this album. One track however, sums up where these guys stand on hiphop - `Wannabes' is a nice rip on all those pophop MC's out there that rap (note: not MC) over synth beats looped from a keyboard. And they couldn't stand anywhere near PUTS. These guys dig beats and then forge them into pure happiness. A must, an absolute must, for all fans of jazzy, funky, hiphop.

A more relaxed album than a party album never the less this album will not fail to make you 'nod' your head!Trust me with a smooth LA style mixed with all kinds of crazy and different samples this is a winner.Songs to look out for: "San Francisco nights" "Rock are S***"

After seeing these guy's live in Glow303, and buying there second album the next step was ''The Next Step''. The album is full of fat beat's, chilled beat's, old skool beat's, new skool beat's, and beat's you wish you know about year's ago. The album is dope to the bone and there is no other word to describe it, it's just the dopest hiphop around! It cover's every base and for a first large album it is a mos def for mine, your's and everyone's collection. Buy it KNOW !
