Our range of Newlink Wireless products operate to the IEEE 802.11g connection standard and have WEP Encryption security and connect at speeds up to 54 Mbps, with distance ranging from 50 - 300 Mtrs, depending on location and surrounding environment, They are all backwards compatible with IEEE 802.11b. This was a complete waste of money as the wireless connection is not very good and connecting to the internet is verrrry slow, practically non existent. It may be OK if the computer is closer to the hub, but in my situation this is not possible, however it is only about 40 feet away. I have another wireless connection (in another location)which works, is brilliant and is further away. I shall probably have to spend more money to enable me to connect my computer wirelessly.
