Product Description

Please remove from the box and plastic packaging. The handle features 2 very strong suction cups which securely grip to any flat non-porous surface. Locking the device in place is a simple matter of pushing two clips. To unlock you do the reverse. The handle works at any angle and can be used anywhere in the home.

I bought these to fit in our walk-in shower after my wife had a hip replacement operation, and was pleasantly surprised just how good they are. They stick like the proverbial limpets, and have stayed put for several weeks no problem. However, some common sense needs to be applied: these can never be as secure as handles that are firmly screwed to the wall, so you should use them primarily for balance rather than put heavy loading on them. Even if the suction does not fail, you have no means of knowing just how securely the tiles are bonded to the wall - there might be crumbling plaster behind, especially if it has become damp through leaking grout. I always do a check to see that the handles are holding firm, each and every time they are used.

My tops tips are: Make sure the suction cups and the tiles are scrupulously clean, smear a tiny amount of traditional thick Vaseline, or thick silicone grease if you have any (NOT ordinary lubricating grease). Also, make sure that the two cups are stuck to different tiles in order to spread the load. That Vaseline trick makes a really big difference I can tell you, but only use a tiny amount - the size of a small garden pea is plenty - or the cups may have a tendency to slide across the tiles under load.

The biggest problem I found was actually UNsticking the cups, and my tip here is to release the locking levers and then slide the cups over a grouted joint, at which point they will instantly release.

Although it seems to grip like a limpet when first applied, leave it overnight and it becomes loose and unusable. Very disappointing.

I ordered a pair of these. Had the seller mentioned they were in China and that they'd take weeks to be delivered, I would have looked elsewhere. Eventually they arrived, but one was faulty. No offer to replace, let alone a response of any kind, so eventually -- many weeks on -- Amazon forced a complete reimbursement. The one that worked is starting to give out as the internal springs are already hopelessly rusted. Look for something else, somewhere else.

Useless and dangerous. Broke first time it was applied to bath. Poor plastic fitting fractured . Thankfully never used to support anyone as could have resulted in an accident.

The goods did not stick to wall tiles as described, making the goods dangerous, unsupportive and unusable for my disabled mother. Not as described in description. The plastic was thin and cheap,
Unfortunately I will not be recommending these goods to anyone anytime soon.
