DONT BUY THIS.
You have to remove the basket handle to lower the lid;
Have to reattach the handle to take the basket out SCALIDING STEAM guarangeed to burn when taking basket out;
Ued it 3 times AND THEN IT DIED. CEASED TO FUNCTION AT ALL. Not the fuse but the fryer itself. WASTE OF MONEY, Had to go and buy another at a shop where i got a purchase guarantee.

Fits into a small space, works well but is just too small to fry anything really. Would be fine to fry something for one person like one portion of chips. I bought it to fry corn dogs and calamari but it was too small to fit the corn dogs on a stick in.
Just gave 4 stars because the container is not removable, so it's difficult to clean. The fryer is as small as a toaster, easy to store.
