Easy to setup and manage. Works as Netgear says it will.
Setup using the same SSID as the main router. Can not tell the difference in moving between the main router and the extender.
No more wireless dead zones in the house.
Better and cheaper then the ethernet over power line.
Four ethernet ports at the back are very useful.
Will recommend if someone wants to extend the range of their wireless network.

Highly recommend this - very easy to install.
I have set up routers and extenders by several makers and this is the simplest I have come across: Took it out of the box, plugged it in. Connected to the web interface [...] using my laptop as instructed. The extender searched for my current wifi, asked me a couple of questions (i.e. security code for my router) and then everything was ready to use...Jobs a good-un in under 10 minutes!

I am not a technical person at all, so was a bit concerned about how easy it would be to set this equipment up but i shouldnt have worried. I plugged it in, followed the instructions and it was up and working in around 5 minutes. In the room i set it up the signal strength has gone from nothing or weak to excellent so i am absolutely delighted. By the way i did have to down load the installation instructions as there were only German and Italian in the box but they were easily available on the netgear website so it wasnt a problem

This product is fundamentally flawed - avoid until fix comes out
Beware of this product. Try googling WN2000RPT PROBLEMS and you'll find hundreds of people out there who are having the same issue. Read more
