I had this on my wedding list and we have been so delighted since the day it arrived! We tried other coffee machines at friends' places but none impressed us too much - so we went for the NESCAFE. The Dolce Gusto pods are great quality and worth the money. I am impressived with the 'Italian taste' of the coffee base - as opposed to those American style that you get from starbucks. The promotional offer is great too, a free box of mixed pods come with the coffee and registering with them on the interest brings you another two free boxes.

Do remember to register [] you get points bits by bits: every box of pods you purchse you get 11 points when you enter the code, every 160 points you earn you get a free box of pods! During this time of the year, they are giving extra points that is worth 5 boxes of coffee!

I am so pleased with my ivory Dolce Gusto I would highly rate this and recommend this to every coffee lover!

This is a really easy to use machine. I have replaced my Tassimo with this one and it is far better. The drinks area actually hot!

Really easy to use, no mess. The only thing is that the pods are quite expensive and I have not seen any multi buys on them. But the machine itself is great.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas - the earlier reviews helped me to make the decision about which model to buy. Initially we made a few mistakes and wasted some of the pods in the process because the leaflet in the box wasn't clear. In the end we went to the website for Krups and watched a video presentation - we then found the whole process straightforward. I love the hot chocolate, my husband & son prefer the latte. We found that sometimes the first cup isn't as hot as we would like - so now we let the hot water run into a glass before we start and the drinks that follow on are really hot. We have registered the machine on the Krups site and we have had some vouchers for free pods as a result. Every time we buy the pods there is a number inside the box which we register on the site to build up points for more freebies. We are enjoying using the machine - but @ £3.28 a box the drinks which require 2 pods to create the drink are expensive. On the whole the machine delivers what it promises, and the price was definitley cheaper on Amazon - enough to pay I think for a luxury item when the novelty may well wear off!!

This little hot drinks machine looks like it could be the latest Japanese electronic pet, all it needs is eyes.

When you unpack it you'll discover that it is easy to start using straight away, just fill the water tank and get your free samples out. Sort the samples into their groups - some of them only require one pod, but others like the drinking chocolate require 2 pods. A small word of advice use a mug or large cup if you are making one of the 2 pod drinks.

Pick your poison ... erm ... beverage, and lift the flat lever at the front. The flat lever releases the pod holder below. Pull the pod holder out and place in the drink pod in the space and push the pod holder back into place. Close the release arm and do not worry if you hear a pop/hiss as it is the machine puncturing the pod ready to dispense the drink. Move the antenna handle on the top to the right (towards the red dot) and click into place. This dispenses the hot water. The antenna automatically moves back to the centre when the correct amount of water has been dispensed. Lift the front release lever again, pull out the pod holder and dump the used pod into the "bin" provided them, if necessary, put the second pod in the holder and repeat the process with the second pod.

Customer services are very patient and friendly when you have problems and queries and their explanations are clear and helpful.

There is no way of recycling the pods in the UK yet.

The white machine is more of a pale cream but it's still very cute and does the job. It can make a cup of coffee a little on the expensive side, but it does make great coffee and drinking chocolate.

Having been a fan of my neighbours Dolce Gusto, I purchased one for myself (and was v. impressed it was also available in Ivory to go with my kitchen!) .. The Lattes and Cappucinos are Delicious!

The pods are around £3.25 for 8, however, you`d spend that on one grande starbucks coffee!

Easy to clean, and if you register on there website, you get a free box of pods.

I`d Highly recommend this machine to everyone!

I bought this with christmas money last year and have found it very useful. It is better than a lot of coffee machines I have had before. The coffee is very useful for guests and parties. The only thing I wish was better was more choice of pods. Tassimo have more varieties of coffee pods. Hot chocolate a bit watery and not got good taste.

Had this a month now and use it every day. I had given up on my old machine which made great coffee but was a fiddle to heat up and then clean after use. This Dolce Gusto is SO EASY TO USE. OK the pods cost more than ground coffee, but it's worth it for the convenience. And it can be hard to find all the different types in the shops (try Sainsbury's for the best range; you can buy online but the postage is uneconomic). How about quality of the coffee? Well the Espresso and the Lungo are excellent, and the Cappuccino, Classico and Latte Macchiato are good. The coffee comes out hot too, which doesn't seem to be the case with all machines. I haven't tried the Hot Chocolate but my wife tells me it's very good too. Overall rating? ***** for convenience, **** for quality of coffee, ***** for the machine's value for money.

As the title suggests - a brilliant buy indeed!!

I was pretty sceptical given that quite a lot of the reviews contained as many 'negative' points as positive; but as a close friend of mine couldn't recommend it highly enough we decided to take the plunge.

I am very fussy when it comes to overly sweet products, but I do not find the drinks - even the Choccocino - sweet at all. The water comes through very hot, not tepid like many machines. The coffee choice could be deemed quite limited in the supermarkets, but given I rarely drink anything other than a Latte when I go to the coffee house chains, this is not an issue in our household (Morrisons seem to stock a good range though). Each cup works out at approx 43p currently; even a box of 8 is the price you pay on the high street for one cup! We've had fun 'measuring' the volume of our cups....... to ensure we get the right amount of milk/coffee/cocoa in each cup; but I have to confess I tend to go roughly half & half in a normal size mug & I get a decent coffee every time.

Anyway, as with all reviews, this is my/our experience of our purchase & I hope that it may help others in making a decision whether to buy this product.

All in all, we love it!!

I brought this product having originally wanting a Tassimo like a friend has - however I am so so so glad i brought the dolce dusto. It looks stylish, cleans up easy and very easy to use. Water heats quickly and provides hot beverages in a flash. Its like having a little bit of starbucks at home. Having no trouble finding pod stockest as all my local supermarkets stock complete range. I love it so much I brought my Dad one two.

I wanted a simple coffee machine last Christmas and as I liked Nescafe coffee decided on the Krups Nescafe Gusto in Ivory to match my kitchen.
