I must admitt I had a few reservations when I ordered this item, for the price and the amount of equipment involved I though it was too good to be true. I have been using the lights for just under two weeks and i'm very happy with the results, the flash units delivery even result with little or no drift in the amount of light generated on each cycle. When used as a constant light source i've found them slightly under powered but this can be compensated for by moving the light closer too your model. The build quality is good and the wireless trigger has no sync problems when used with my Cannon 600d and 350d. The only issue I do have is the light stands, when used close to full height as a constant light source they struggle to cope with added weight of the light and softbox and become unstable. Anyone thats wanting to get into studio photography this is a great and cheap way of starting out, Great value for money.
NEEWER 540W Studio Flash Lighting Kit Softbox Barndoor TRIGGER I've just recently got into photography and studio lighting, I had my heart set on buying Bowens gear but I am sadly ruled by pocket so I opted for the Neewer 540W Studio Flash Lighting Kit instead. Now at this point I would imagine that the true professional photographers will be looking down their collective noses and snorting with derision but the simple fact is this, studio spaces and professional gear are fabulous if you have that kind of money to spend, if you don't then this is a fantastic alternative, superb value for money, a serious amount of kit that arrives well packaged, it even comes with cases and a big bag to fit it all in and it will easily fit on the back seat of your car if the boot is full!
To the guys at Neewer I say well done, this is a fabulous product, a truly great place for any budding photographer to start!
