This bible is a great source of reference for youth groups. It put things into context when talking to young people about religion.

2000 uk edition is more up to date than the 1991 american edition.

Still in print in the uk such as amazon.co.uk.
Word Publishing owned both the NCV and Youth Bible in 1991.
Word Publishing had already been bought by Thomas Nelson.
authenticmedia.co.uk got permission from Nelson to produce a 2nd edtion in 2000. The devotional notes called lifefiles were updated in 2000. Features anglicised NCV which should not be a problem for Americans since the KJV is also from the UK.
For 3rd edition, authenticmedia.co.uk lost the permission to use the ncv and they will be using the ESV instead.
Printed in Great Britain.
Some devotionals are from the UK such as one that mentions the death of Princess Diana.
