The Office of Special Projects is a deep clandestine division of NCIS and is located in Los Angeles and their agents go deep undercover to stop the elements that threaten national security with advanced gadgets, guts, and wits.
As a police drama, NCIS LA is surprisingly simple and thrilling, especially the team - Chris O'Donnell's G. Callen and LL Cool J's Sam Hanna are one of the best partners in a series, and their buddy chemistry is one of the high points of this series. The rest of the team NCIS special agent Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah), LAPD Liaison detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olson), team psychologist Nate Getz (Peter Cambor), the geek Nell Jones (Renee Felice Smith), cyber specialist Eric Beal (Barret Foa)and the manager Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt) are perfect. Rocky Carroll is also present as NCIS Director Vance in some episodes and his presence is a delight.
The season also tries to peek into the history of G. Callen and his roots. The rest, everything you've been expecting, full of thrilling episodes, action, rescue missions, undercover work, chases, super duper technology...in short it's a great series.

I love NCIS and the LA spin off is great. Different but works really well. Fantastic picture quality and great story lines. I personally love Hetty as a character. Good character story lines and lots of action in every episode.

A great series
A great spin off from the NCIS team. Chris O'Donnell and LLCoolJ are the starts but are well supported by Linda Hunt in particular as Hetty who makes the show in my opinion.

The ongoing adventures
The characters build well, I think. Some good twists and turns. It' not as good as the original NCIS, but it has it's moments.
