I was hesitant at first - how can you get better than Gibbs? However they have changed the basic relationship between the characters in LA so they bare no resemblance to the relationships in NCIS. So although its of the same franchise, they have little in common with each other. Its witty, quick paced and all the characters are brilliant. They did not do them justice in the cross over episodes in NCIS when they were first introduced. Watch and you will not be disappointed.

Excellent DVD.
I am a massive fan of NCIS as is the whole Family so was interested how it would compare.
To be honest I could not see myself liking NCIS Los Angeles as much as NCIS as it is such a hard show to follow.
However my Family and I were not disappointed.We like it just as much as NCIS.It works in the fact it is different and much more based out on location.Very appealing also to the teenagers in the family here with allot of technology being used.
With characters like Linda Hunt starring in it, who is brilliant in her role as operations manager and supervisor and Chris O'Donnnell and LL Cool J as special agents you can't go wrong.The whole cast of NCIS Los Angeles really gel together.Our Family was really sorry when we finished Series One and have been left impatiently waiting for the next seriesNCIS: Los Angeles Season 1 [DVD] of NCIS Los Angeles to be released on DVD!

I love this show, just as much as the original. Just like other reviews I to had watch the first 2 disc's to get into it.
But when i started to get the characters, there backgrounds and quirks I loved it. Even the cheesy opening vid.
It is a brilliant spin-off and lots of fun to watch, the banter between the two lead characters is especially fun to
watch. I would recommend this to anyone, not just NCIS fan's.

Great series
Any body who enjoys american cop shows will love this, it has a full on adventure with hidden pasts with each character that sometimes pop there heads out.
