The Tabtech M010S is a wonderful example of how to achieve subtle power and appeal to the price conscious buyer. With Google Android 2.2 as it's base operating system, this device is versatile enough to be comfortable with flash player 10.1 yet still remain one of the most competitively priced Android 2.2 tablets in the market today.
We won't lie and say to you that this will be the best tablet PC that you have ever used - our honest approach to selling means that we will warn you - it is no match for an iPad or some of it's more expensive brethren but, we guaranteee that you will not be disappointed and recognise the value for money offered by this terrific 7" Google Android Tablet PC !
This latest version exclusive to the Tabtech brand comes complete with working Android Market from which, there are thousands of Apps and games available for download. With smooth youtube video playback and a nice Kindle App thrown in, you can't ask for any more from this inexpensive workhorse.
Android Tablet PCs such as this are manufacured with 2GB system memory. This is enough to run the applications and games that are already pre-loaded but we would recommend purchasing an additional memory card if you wish to add more files such as games, applications, photos, videos and music etc

If you're hesitating - don't,

There are lots of reviews here from the tech-savvie. This one is more for the technically daft, like me.I hesitated for ages before buying this. Do I need a tablet? Is it just a toy? I should not have waited. The Tabtech represents incredible value for money, and I'm now a complete convert. You've got a PC. You've got a phone. Why do you need a tablet? The answer for me, most of all, is if you travel. We had a few days away immediately after the Tabtech M010S arrived . This meant I was able to: i) read books on the train -------------------------- If you haven't yet succumbed to an eReader, here's the thing: if you're travelling, you can carry as many books as you want without weight. This really is a bonus, and reading on the Tabtech is extremely comfortable. (Hold down a thumb on the side of the screen to get adjustment for brightness.) ii) keep up with emails ----------------------- I strongly resist the idea that I'm so important I need to be in touch with everybody all the time. And I believe that holidays should be work free. But in fact it's much more relaxing knowing that you can check if anything important has come in, rather than returning to a mountain of emails. You just need the discipline to ignore stuff. I set up a special email address for the tablet, and copied home emails to that: that way I could just delete non-vital stuff from the tablet, knowing I could deal with it on the home computer on my return. iii) surf the net ----------------- OK this is not SO vital unless you're a net junkie. But it's nice to be able to check stuff on the move - settle those arguments about the meanings of words, check opening times for tourist sites - etc, etc. iv) Download driving directions ------------------------------- If you don't like Sat Nav (yes, there are some of us!), it's great to be able to get directions from Google Maps and copy them onto the tablet. Then your passenger can have the tablet on their lap and give you step by step instructions. Works really well. The bit I was unsure of - having so many functions on one device - is actually its greatest strength. And they all work well. So all in all, it was a brilliant purchase, just for the few days we were away. And on returning home, it is actually great to be able to carry the thing about the house, using it where and whenever, instead of being tied to a PC. What you WON'T want to do is any extensive typing, unless you have an extension keyboard like maybe this: New 7" Inch Black Leather Look Case + USB Keyboard With Free Stylus & Stand Feature For Protection Of Your 7" Tablet PC ePad aPad Device. The Tabtech's keyboard is OK for tapping in passwords or URLs, but you won't want to write your thesis on it. Likewise, I found it easier to download books on the PC and copy them over via the Tabtech's USB cable. IMHO, Android is not quite the finished article yet: I see it as a phone OS grown big, rather than Windows grown small. But it is adequate for most purposes, and pretty easy to use. If you're new to Android you'll probably want to download the Android User Guide from Google. A couple of final things: _DON'T_ worry about scratching the screen. There is actually a screen protector fitted: if scratches appear, they're on the protector, not on the screen. And you WILL want a case of some kind. I bought one of these Kit 7 inch Neoprene Notebook Case - Black, but I can't recommend it. It's substantially too big for the tablet which swims around in it. At some point I'll probably try one of these: New 7" Inch Black Leather Look Case + USB Keyboard With Free Stylus & Stand Feature For Protection Of Your 7" Tablet PC ePad aPad Device. So if you think you might want one, but aren't quite sure, stop hesitating and go for it. You don't need to be a techie expert, it's not scary, it IS useful, and you won't regret it. *** Everybody says it, but it's true. Wendy Lou's service is incredible. I asked for a specially quick delivery when I ordered on a Saturday. I got an email back - on Saturday - in no time, and the tablet arrived 8.15 am Tuesday morning. I don't see how it could have been quicker. My subsequent questions to Wendy Lou have been quickly, courteously and helpfully answered - again within minutes. What amazing service. Bravo.

My new M010,
By Big Hair "John" (Cumbria, England) - See all my reviews
This review is from: NATPC M010S 7" 2GB Google Android Tablet PC - 2.2 Android Tablet - Flash 10.1 - WiFi , Touchscreen, Epad, Apad, Genuine UK Android Market, Youtube, Facebook and Amazon Kindle App (Personal Computers)
Ordered this on the Monday - it arrived less than 24hrs later! At first I couldn't connect to my BT-Homehub-2 WiFi - the WiFi settings screen simply kept completely hanging the tablet. My Hub has WPA & WPA2 encryption turned on and I was not prepared to lower this to WEP. I tried everything I could think of, including: *resetting tablet via the tiny pinhole and a piece of thin wire (done correctly you can feel the tiny button 'click') - no joy. *turning off our cordless 'phones (not Hub-phones) - still hanging tablet. *ensuring that only the tablet was trying to connect, without anything else connected (i.e. my laptop) - no joy. *completely resetting the Hub hardware (using the Hub's tiny pinhole switch) - nothing. *changing the Hub's WiFi security key - nada. *trying to connect via my Hub's Openzone and BTFon open hotspots (no security needed here) - still the same problem. By this stage I was beginning to lose the will to live..... When the Hub was off the tablet's WiFi settings saw other networks (but still couldn't connect to their Openzones) and behaved normally, no lock-up but no way to connect either! Now in the middle of (reluctantly) typing a return and exchange e-mail to Wendy Lou, I had a new idea - a last ditch attempt.... I logged into my Hub's settings and changed it's wireless properties to type b/g only - turning off type n.... Hey Presto! - after several cartwheels, a backflip and one verse of 'God Save the Queen' problem solved - tablet found my network and connected to the Internet very quickly (it took about 10 seconds to receive an IP address and connect). I very nearly wept with relief, joy and sleep-deprivation. The tablet is now completely problem-free and working perfectly without ANY problems whatsoever. This procedure (using only b/g wireless and no n) could be very useful for any BT-Homehub-2 owners having problems similar to mine and rapidly turning into a dead-eyed mindless gibbering zombie who's spouse is about to set fire to their tablet whilst they are still clutching at it and screaming like a banshee in frustration! Whether the g standard was 'swamping' my network in some way (although another tablet and laptop we use never had any problems connecting) as regards the M010's WiFi adapter I couldn'y say - but it's an idea at least. I hope this helps someone a bit. In all other respects and functions both hardware and software are performing very, very well indeed. Of particular note is this tablet's screen performance - it honestly is beautifully sensitive, accurate and responsive - you will soon forget you ever owned a stylus. Others have already covered this tablet fully but I thought my experience with the WiFi could be informative as I haven't seen the b/g/n signal settings mentioned. John B

I am absolutely delighted with this tablet.Originally I wanted a mobile device to download e-books from the library service as my local library may be closing. The 'app' I needed to do this(Overdrive Media Console)was readily available and soon up and running.I have enjoyed exploring this tablet for all the other things it does and now use it for e-mailing,looking at BBC and Sky news and getting weather forecasts etc. I am literally like a kid with a new toy! Every time I use it I find something new. I found it SO easy to connect to our home wi-fi broadband system and it even connects quicker than the laptop. I can't praise this device enough, if you after a tablet that is not going to cost an arm and a leg - go for it!
