Yet, even another CD release by the beloved Japanese space-rock noise merchants, we know as Acid Mothers Temple. Four lengthy tracks here that clock in between the 14 to 20 minute mark. Can your glue sniffing brain handle it? "The Man From Giacobinid Meteor Comet" is your typical mind-boggling psychedelic freak-out they're SO known for; after fifteen minutes, some rather fine sitar takes over. "Five Dimensional Nightmare" is more sedate with some mystical flute work, just as trippy as the opening cut. The powerful "Love Electrique" more or less continues at where the first tune left off, employing high-pitched vocals. "Pink Lady Lemonade" is, I assume an unreleased version of this AMT concert staple. Twenty minutes of sonic space whispers provided by new ATM member, girl vocalist Kitagawa Hao. Great job of filling in for the departed Cotton Casino. One thing I'd like to know, HOW many CD's do Acid Mothers actually have out? Also, when do they sleep? Essential listening, to say the least.
