INXS formed in their native Australia in the late seventies and quickly established themselves as a great live band. However it wasn t until the early eighties that they began to break through as a recording act, first in Australia and then globally. Through the rest of the eighties and nineties they filled stadiums around the world and released a constant stream of classic hit singles and bestselling albums. This INXS concert from the Loreley Festival in Germany was filmed for the famous German TV series Rockpalast on June 21st 1997, just five months before the tragic early death of lead singer Michael Hutchence on November 22nd. The DVD captures INXS on top form with a setlist packed with classic songs including ten UK Top 40 singles.

I was lucky enough to see them on this tour and it was Amazing. Micheal was pleased to be on stage again and the band sounded great. When he died I really wanted to have a memory of one of the best concerts I have been too.
It took them 14 years but finally its here. This DVD will remind you just how good INXS were live and what a frontman Michael was.

A LAST CHANCE TO SEE LEGENDARY FRONT MAN MICHAEL HUTCHENCE JUST MONTHS BEFORE HIS UNTIMELY DEATH. IT SEES A BAND HAPPY TO BE TOGETHER AGAIN, HAVING FUN PLAYING LIVE AFTER A BREAK OF A COUPLE OF YEARS.INXS SHOW EXACTLY WHY THEY WERE AND IN FACT STILL ARE AN AMAZING LIVE ACT.
