Criminally unknown in the UK MST3K is a cult phenomenon. Simply a guy (Mike or Joel) plus his two robot friends, the senstive Tom Servo and the caustic Crow T Robot watch the worst movies ever and "riff" them. This is a spin off movie thats actually shorter than an episode of the TV show.
Its pretty puerile, quite silly but always fun and nearly always laugh out loud funny. This is a great place to start for aspiring MISTIES. Here they watch This Island Earth and prodice lots of great riffs concerning bad science, bad aliens, the hero's chump sidekick and the biggest car in America.
Qouting riffs doesnt really work as you have to qoute the movie then qoute the riff but here goes.

Crow T. Robot: YOU'RE NOT MY REAL FATHER?
Anyways MST3K is great. Be a MISTIE.

Wow a UK release for MST3K? Astonishing! Can we please now get a release for some of the episodes. The Movie is a decent introduction to MST3K if you've never watched it before, but it's not the best riffing they've ever done. If you're havering as to whether to buy this, the answer is however a definite, unconditional yes - it's breezy, funny, silly and all the things MST3K always is, but more importantly, the more people that buy this, the more pressure there will be to release actual episodes...
