A must read guide!, 9 April 2007
"The Mystery Method" is a definite must read in that it really spells out HOW to attract the females you want to attract. The author is ingenious in his approach, which is laid back and never overbearing, which is what I have found to help with women the most. The best thing about this book is that if a guy does as the author says, his chances with women increases a lot. Without hesitation, I recommend this book along with another I found helped me in this depatment too: "Chicks: A User's Guide" by Dag Albright. Together, these books have given me more confidence and a better chance with choice women.

Very good and Very bad at the same time, 23 Dec 2007
I read this book and The Natural Art of Seduction and think they are both merit worthy, but The Mystery Method had a potential downside which The Natural Art of Seduction lacked.
For guys with no clue with women, the Mystery Method is a miracle work - something that will change their fate and turn them into the person they never thought they'd become.
The fact is, this stuff does work, knowing the principles of the mystery method will make you better with women. You will go from not knowing what to say, to having plenty to say. You'll understand some of the subtleties of why women are attracted to certain men and how to become that man.
There is a right way to go about it and a wrong way however.
If you read this book and follow it's advice to the letter, you will become a very weird person, you will give up your friends, and you will find it hard to have a "normal" relationship with a woman. You will create DHV stories (lies) opinion openers (lies) comfort building routines (lies)and more and more excuses and lies to get the woman into your bed. The problem is that she will be becoming attracted to someone else (Maybe Mystery?!), and when she finds out who you really are, when the game runs out, she'll dump you.
The best way to treat this stuff is therefore: Immerse yourself, try everything, but pick and mix, find the stuff that is right for YOU, for your personality, that you feel COMFORTABLE with. In time, have the ambition of becoming more natural, becoming more yourself. It'll be a more comfortable, experienced, knowledgeable and interesting self so by then it's fine.
There is no one magic formula that is perfect for everybody, find the one that is right for you, it might be 90% mystery method, or it might be 3%. Above all, don't be a weirdo. Think of it like going to PUA UNiversity, come for a few months, learn the stuff (go out sarging and being weird and lying) then go back to the real world.
Don't get me wrong, it's still an evolutionary work that pushed things forward like never before, it's just that it is slightly outdated and has been improved upon in other works such as the aforementioned Natural Art of Seduction.

It Works But Only With Practice, 2 Jun 2007
First let me say that I am happily married and bought this book as I am interested in psychology and human interaction especially between the sexes.
The good news....This book explains in an almost scientific way how to attract women. The methods are broken down and analyzed in detail explaining exactly why they work. The book does not skimp on information it is packed with simple techniques such as ignoring your target, being negative to attractive girls, having set stories to tell that you have rehearsed over and over and smiling, the list goes on and it is all good stuff. His basic message is this though, you need to be seen as a guy with high standing in his environment, the Alpha Male. You do not follow,you are followed.If you look like the follower how will you protect her or give good offspring? The girl does not know she is thinking this but she is when she decides to screw you or me.
The bad news....Just because you read this book it will not make you a great pick up artist, just like reading "Tao of Jeet kun Do" will not make you Bruce Lee. Instead what the author says is you need to go out with this info 4 times a week and practice and practice some more. Eventually 6 months down the line of making mistakes and analyzing, things will become more natural and you will not need to think about it you will just be it, just like driving for example.
When I look back to all the times in my life prior to marriage that I "pulled" for want of a better word, I can see that I inadvertantly used many of the techniques in this book and they worked. And I mean they REALLY worked.
This book has the potential to change your life. But only if you leave your sofa and put it into action.
