The Mysterious Collapse of World Trade Center 7 [Paperback]

Buy this book because it will shed light on why an Italian President, Francesco Cossiga; a former assistant Secretary to (Ronald Reagan's) U.S. Treasury, Paul Craig Roberts; a world-renowned author, Gore Vidal; a former German Defence Minister, Andreas von Bulow; LearJet Corporation's very own John Lear; former commander of U.S. Army Intelligence, Major General Albert Stubblebine; former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence, Col. Ronald D. Ray; and two former staff members of the Director of the National Security Agency: Lt. Col. Karen Kwiatkowski, PhD, and Major John M. Newman, PhD, amongst many others, including pilots and aviation professionals worldwide, thousands of physicists, engineers, architects, demolition experts; even firemen who were at the scene, all think the same: that this whole episode should be looked at again. If the above people are of the belief that the official story of 9/11 is a lie, then I think we should pay some attention to this.

The reviewer, below, who gave this book just 1 star - and gave all of the other top-selling books on this subject 1-star also, seems to have a mission. Looking at his other reviews he reviews only 9/11 evidence books that question the official theory, and he always dismisses them with 1-star, no matter what their merits are. If you consider the list of names above, is it possible to believe that such highly intelligent & important people would be stupid enough to be duped by authors of 1-star books; the same books that our 1-star-giving, seemingly politically motivated reviewer below dismisses, with, at best, unfair, very biased and irrelevant words (e.g. bemoaning the lifestyle of "9/11 truth" writers who live in California beach houses). His reviews reflect only his uncritical acceptance of the official story; and maybe his collusion in disseminating it. He has one use though: his list! If he gives a book 1-star, it's worth 5; and well-worth buying. Even if only works of imagination these books would qualify for more than 1 star! If only they were works of imagination; if only ... Sadly, after reading this and other books like it, any one with an open mind will have to re-assess the official theory. This and other books by the same author (and others) do not present theories, just evidence, including that on 9/11 the laws of physics were circumvented; never before & not since. For the official 9/11 story to stand, physics must bend, for on that day the law of physics known as The Law of the Conservation of Momentum, briefly but assuredly no longer applied to our world, at least not to a spot on the Manhattan peninsular. This very strange oddity alone tears apart the official cover-up - the real `conspiracy theory' of 9/11.

This book demonstrates that no matter if 9/11 demolitions are discredited by supporters of the official theory, who say that it takes months to prepare a building for demolition, therefore it would be impossible that WTC buildings were prepared & destroyed in this way, because the owner of the entire site, and original developer of Building 7, Mr. Larry Silverstein, who had only just leased the entire WTC complex (in late July 2001!), who's own personal stake in the site was just 14 million, who had, just-in-time, massively (over-)insured it, specifically for terrorist attack by hijacked planes flown by suicidal religious nuts (he made over 4 billion back, in a 2004 insurance settlement; and is now pursuing billions more from the airlines involved) announced on TV, on 9/11, after the late afternoon collapse of the about-50-storey building known as Building 7, which stood 2 blocks away from the nearest of the Twin Towers, that he and others in authority had "decided to pull it", to save further loss of life (you can find that footage all over the web). Demolition experts agree, "pull it" means demolish it. Building 7 can be seen falling as a perfect demolition, all over the web. Whether it was pre-wired or whether its owner was right and they'd done it that day, it is clear that Building 7 was demolished. Strangely, somehow the mayor of New York, Rudi Giuliani, and even the BBC producers that day, displayed psychic tendencies, for both knew, well in advance, that it was going to collapse, i.e. the third steel-framed building to collapse by fire in one day, and the third in history (never before & not since, even though plenty of steel-framed high-rises have been engulfed in flames for hours or days, have any of the others suffered this fate). In fact, the then mayor of NYC was on record for also having said that he knew the towers were due to come down too, even though there was no record of such a thing in history. Amazing psychic abilities Rudi! Then there was poor Barry Jennings, a worker in one of the offices inside this building, which housed Rudi's bunker and secret service offices, the most secure buidling in NY, some said. He was a witness to the fact that it had suffered a massive bomb that tore out the ground floor lobby area and damaged the lowest floors, early on in the day, hours before its collapse. He died in mysterious circumstances shortly after giving a filmed interview, in which he told what we were never meant to hear.

It's not just about fires reaching super-fuelled temperatures (to melt steel - which they cannot actually do; certainly not in such huge steel structures: the heat has massive lengths of cold, hard steel to conduct-away to) that even fires fed with jet-fuel, carpets, books and furniture would not have been possible to reach; it's not just that in the few days before 9/11, thousands of `put options' were purchased against United Airlines, American Airlines and Morgan Stanley, one of the companies based in the instantly decimated plane-hit floors of the WTC (a figure that, in this case, is 1,200% higher than on any other, normal market trading day) and that these sales went through a bank owned by an Executive Director of the CIA; and that the "winnings" of 2.5 million have still not been collected by the `lucky' player; it's not just that recently the FBI have ruled-out the possibility of those tragic, last-minute cell-phone calls, from the doomed planes, to loved ones, as ever having been made - the technology did not exist then; and it's not just the fact that for steel-framed buildings to fall at the rate they did (like a billiard ball falling through clear air), without breaking the laws of physics . . . but if I go on, you'll never hear it from the pens of those who do a better job of writing it than I do. I fully and whole-heartedly recommend this book and the others by this David Ray Griffin (and any of the books on that 1-star reviewer's list) for they are all 5-star tomes! If you only buy one book this year, buy a David Ray Griffin book.

This is an excellent book and a must for all people who care about truth and justice. If you have always believed that terrorists destroyed the twin towers on 9/11 then prepare to be very shocked! This book is loaded with evidence and hard-facts, which prove that 9/11 was an inside job. I highly recommend it!!

David Ray Griffin's latest book on the alternative conspiracy theory surrounding the terrorist attacks of 11th September, 2001, sees him take on what some in the "9/11 Truth movement" refer to as the smoking gun regarding the day's events: why World Trade Center 7 collapsed symmetrically, despite not being hit by a plane or suffering from any intense fires.

Given the contentious nature of this book, some will have pretty strong opinions on it one way or another (i.e. "It's great!" or "It's rubbish!"), despite not actually having read it.

As always, Griffin writes clearly and his arguments are usually logically progressed; despite these attributes I felt less compelled about this book than some of his others, namely the excellent The New Pearl Harbor and Debunking 9/11 Debunking. The reason is essentially that this book focuses very narrowly on a few key areas, mostly involving the subjects of architecture and engineering. As such, pages on fire temperatures, fire zones, duration of fires, steel and concrete resistance to and effects from fires, makes for pretty dry reading. There are, of course, other chapters looking at, for example, eye-witnesses accounts of explosions and physical evidence for explosions but for the most part, engineering-related topics seem to comprise much of the book.

Therefore, given its selective area of research and high level of detail, I could only recommend David Ray Griffin's The Mysterious Collapse of World Trade Center 7 to readers who have a real dedication to the subject. For those who are new to the study of the controversies of 11th September, 2001, or for the general, casual reader, this should not be your first port of call but rather, look at the two previous titles I have mentioned in passing.
