5.0 out of 5 stars Totally worths the money. 25 Oct. 2007
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
I have reviewed the Myst games individually many times, so I'm not gonna do this again! Not all five games are perfect of course but for such a low price YOU HAVE TO buy this package if you want to call yourself an adventure gamer. If you are not, then you will probably become one, much like I did after playing Myst and Riven. Pretty quick:

Myst: 4/5 (I guess it worthed more than that when it first came out but I cannot play the game and place myself back in the early 90's!)

Riven: 6/5 (Yes, it's THAT good!)

Myst 3:Exile : 4/5 (While not so revolutionary as Myst and Riven, it's still pretty good)

Myst IV:Revolution : 3/5 (They really tried to make Myst 4 a good game, but the puzzles are so hard and sometimes not making any sense that kind of ruined my whole pleasure of playing. It really gave me the worst puzzle headaches ever, so no more than 3 stars)

Myst V:End Of Ages : 2.5/5 (On the contrary to the previous game, this time I don't think they tried too hard to make a good game. And they didn't. And you can see that after finishing the shortest and easiest game in the Myst series).

It would be great for the packge to include URU: Complete Chronicles (4/5 stars from me) and Real Myst (3/5) so that you would get the complete Myst series in one purchase!

Please keep in mind that each game was made by dfferent people (with the exception of Myst and Riven maybe), so other than the characters and the story elements, these are really very different games. Get a piece of paper, a big cup of coffee, and immerse yourself in the Myst universe. Good exploring!

5.0 out of 5 stars Myst Compilation Computer Game 31 July 2009
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
For anyone that has followed the Myst games from the beginning, and now finds their old collection not playable, this set is a must. For anyone that likes games that need skill and intelect, rather than shoot and smash, this set will be an appreciated addition to their collection. It has taken me hours to play the full set so as value for money/ pound for pound excellent. Graphics wonderful, story line easy to follow or just enjoy the puzzles

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but a few niggling points 29 July 2009
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
The games are good, deep and well thought out puzzles with quite heavily detailed and good graphics. However the first two games are very difficult to get working and much of the problems lie in the fact that they were created for machines built last century. But nevertheless it is worth it if only to have a computer game whereby the gameplay seems more adult in the sense of grown-up.

4.0 out of 5 stars The games are brilliant. But why the packaging? 8 Nov. 2011

Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Its no doubt the games are still absoloute classics. And yes this is a worthy collection. But I have a few questions about the pacaging. Don't get me wrong though THE GAMES ARE BRILLIANT, FIVE STAR, YOU GET THE POINT
BUT........ There are a few things I think "Ok, what the hell?!"
First of all - The box that it comes in has a nice design on it and feels good, but the lid can easily fall off, so unless you have an elastic band, uhh... its gonna fall off. The games inside the box are in little plastic sleves, not cases. This was probably the worst part, because this means that the disks are very likely to get broken or snapped. And the disks in the box do not even fit it, so the disks do slide and rattle about, also increacing the changes of damage to the disk. The fact that the lid doesn't stay on very well is also dangerous. Myst II; Riven, originally came on 5 CD rom disks, but then a DVD version was releaced so that the player did not have to keep changing sidks all of the time. This version has the 5 CD's.
