Second very important usage for me is comprehensive knowledge source that referring to DBA work with MySQL. There are very few books out there doing same. I really like it as guide not only to pass Sun MySQL 5 DBA cert, but also as good printed reference for solving many issues you may find being MySQL DBA.
As I said.. I didn't look to much into dev exams, but it looks that quality is consistent so I may only recommend it as good lecture
