Lyndsay Beckham is very thankful to be where she is in life: in just a few years she's gone from a classic case of little education and low self esteem to sexy, single owner of one of Chicago's Hottest bars. She's got three new half-sisters who adore her, a staff she can rely on, and a genuine friendship (and maybe more?) forming with one of her incredibly handsome bartenders, Denver Langston.

In "My Wildest Ride," Sharpe has created a thoughtful story about a woman who may have achieved success in life, but still can't quite see herself for more than the insecure person she used to be. Placing her up against a hero who's determined to earn the trust of the woman he wants before turning her into a lover makes for a story that's not only sexy, but very touching as well. There's sex, there's laughter, and there are side plots that are a little bit silly, but the highlight of this story is the emotional tension between two well drawn out characters.
