I wonder why is Clay Aiken CD in UK so expensive GBP 15 where US amazon sells at USD10!

This CD is awesome. Away from too many ballards, this CD is a real ecletic mix of both upbeat, catchy tunes to the low, soulful ballards that Clay can blow out of the water.
Falling, Ashes and Everything I Dont Need are extremely memorable numbers and Clay pours emotion into these, yet still manages to keep them upbeat. The Real Me and Sacrifical Love dig deep into your heart and the words relate to many of us. Clay's ability to hit us in the stomach with his raw emotion, certainly is apparent in these two. Love All Alone, a self penned song by Clay and the amazing David Foster, is worth the cost alone, and I have oftened wondered, after listening to this, why Clay has not written more....its a waste, if thats what hes capable of..hopefully the confidence he may of got from making his first, means it wont be his last. All in all, an amazing, classy CD from a guy who hasnt made an original CD in a while. HES BACK, HES READY AND I THINK THIS CD IS GOING TO BE HUGE.

Finally - the album we knew Clay Aiken could make!,
This review is from: On My Way Here [Us Import] (Audio CD)
It's great to finally hear Clay Aiken with material to match his talent. There were glimpses of it on Measure Of A Man, but in my opinion A Thousand Different Ways was a step backwards with too many covers and overproduction. This album is a completely different story though, full of great original songs that allow Clay's amazing vocals to shine through. Some reviewers have commented that it only has 12 songs but unlike most albums I own there is not one I would skip past. I also like the mixture of styles with ballads and upbeat tracks with influences of rock, country and R'n'B. My favourites are Ashes, Where I Draw The Line and the beautiful Sacrificial Love. Its just a shame Clay is virtually unknown in the UK and we can only buy his music on import.
