Excellent book! 30 April 2009
By L. Lee
Format:Board book
I love this book! It's a bit like a game - you select an animal on the top half of the page and then choose the food that this animal would eat on the bottom half of the page. My son is only 8 months old, so a bit young for the game yet but he still loves looking at the pictures. Lovely and simple drawings too.

Lovely little book. 13 Nov 2011
Format:Board book
My son's too young to read (7 months) or really understand the concept but he loves the flip pages and the lovely illustrations and really enojys turning the pages and listening when I explain how the pictures go together. Good quality heavier paper too, I've ordered a few Eric Carle books and some of them are really flimsy.

Kind of a weird book 20 Aug 2011

Gave this book as a gift never having read it before. I thought it was a book about food. I didn't know it was a book about food for animals. I read it with my friend's 3 year old daughter and we couldn't figure it out-- you were supposed to match to food to the animal by flipping the bottom half of the page but it was confusing-- do horses eat carrots or apples? Who eats grass? Where is the education in this because I think horses eat carrots and apples and grass?
Anyway, I really wanted a book about food for kids.
