This is a 'must have' book if you own a Samsung Galaxy S3. I came to smart phones late in life and had grave reservations about whether I would be able to set it up etc. With this book it is a no brainer. Covers everything needed to enjoy your phone to the full.

I waited a long time for this book as I kept receiving messages saying it was still not available. Overall I am pleased with purchase but feel it could be laid out a little better as it can be difficult to find what you are looking for.
Otherwise happy with product.

The Galaxy S III is the first smart phone that I have owned. I found the official manual quite incomprehensible. In contrast, this book had much fuller information and was very easy to understand. It is also well priced and is my constant reference.

Good easy explanation of all aspects of the s3 especially for the novice. Each section explained in understandable language. Not too technical.

I acquired this book shortly after purchasing a Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE handset.

Overall this publication is superb. If you want all the hints and tips on how to obtain
the very best out of your Galaxy S3 handset then its unlikely to be bettered. And it is
also written in laymans terms, full of full colour images and as much or as little detail
as you want.

So why only 4 stars?

Well this isn't really a fault of the book as such but a reflection on the limitations of
printed media. That is the fact that specs and models of a various product (ESPECIALLY Mobile
phones) can change virtually overnight. So for example the original S3 has already been
supplanted by the S3 LTE which has a Quad Core Processor, 2GB of RAM and an updated Jelly Bean
interface which are not covered here. A Kindle version may have been a better bet assuming
updates are possible.

So there's my verdict. BRILLIANT if you have an older version of the S3 and certainly of some use
for updated versions. But progress waits for noone and it will be need to be revised frequently to
be keeping up with the pace of change.

I'm no expert but be warned, some of the tutorial step by step guides don't correspond exactly with
my UK device. This is an American publication, don't know if the US model differs from the UK one but if some of the screen shots are anything to go by I think it may well do. Appart from that it ain't that bad, though to be honest, the downloadable Samsung manual from Samsung UK pretty much covers all you will ever need to know and it's free people.
