Product Description

Review

[Praise for My So-Called Life]: 'Nadin achieves the rare trick of producing a book that will make both adults and teenagers laugh aloud. (The Observer )

...it takes talent to turn a dull, uneventful childhood into comic material and Nadin had pulled it off - My So-called Life is very funny . . . an Adrian Mole for 2005. (The Bookseller )

Sharp observation and zippy writing make this a sort of Adrian Mole for the iPhone generation (The Book Magazine )

Book Description

The fourth instalment of the hilarious, best-selling diaries of Rachel Riley

I've been a fan of these books since the first one came out and they jsut keep getting better. [This Review May Contain Spoilers. Ye Have Been Warned!]

The story follows on from where The Meaning Of Life left of with Racheal waiting for Justin to pick her up from Prom yet he never arrives, instead he takes Sophie Jacobs (Who Dad invented Microwave Muffins and one stared in a Fairy Comercial) and stands up Racheal who is left to watch the BBC with her parents and her brother James.

Racheal is heartbroken and makes a "Simple Life" pact with Scarlett and Sad Ed to stay anyway from all men (Not including Sad Ed) and not let emotions get in the way of life.

The book is really good, it has all of Joanna's wit form the first three books and had me in stiches like always. The character of Racheal is still as dim when it comes to boys and it still annoys me that she cannot see Jack's affections for her...

I cannot wait for the fifth book that comes out later this year and I'm happy in knowing that Joanna is writing a sixth. A great book in all!
