My son was introduced to Mr Men books by a teacher in school who would read for them making funny faces and noises, as if acting the book. He would get home telling me about the stories and asking me to buy it. Finally I bought the whole box and he read all the books in one week. After this, he started reading other books much more than before. I think Mr Men books showed him the real pleasure of reading.
He even told me the "story" on how Roger Hargreaves started the first Mr Men (Mr. Tickle) book.

I ordered the library bus and was initially very pleased with it. My daughter has had it five days and has carried it from a to b twice and the case has a crack running along the top seam. These books as always are great classics for a young child. I read a review here that the Mr Men house which was the last carrying case before the bus design also broke. I can confirm that the bus isn't very sturdy either. It might be wipe clean but that isn't much good when it is broke. Would recommend buying the books in a set though just don't expect the case to last as a carrying case.

I remember reading these books as a child and enjoying them so much.
When our first Grandchild was born we decided to buy these (a little young i know ! )
Have since brought one for myself and our other Grandchildren who enjoy looking at the pictures and listening to the stories.
They are a must for all children
