Rumours of a greatest hits package had been flying, but as millions of converts held their breath, Whitney Houston headed into the studio only to emerge--amid a flurry of drama screaming "diva" (a live Web broadcast of the international press conference revealing the album, and a veil of secrecy shrouding the new material)--with her first non-soundtrack album in eight years. So is it worth all the hype and hoopla? Probably. There are no real surprises (typical ballads such as "You'll Never Stand Alone", obligatory writer-producer-singer cameos from Babyface, Wyclef Jean, Missy Elliott, Faith Evans and Kelly Price--this time in a worthy attempt to slot into the late-1990s soul scene), but she does try to defend her marriage on the Elliott-produced "In My Business". This is an amazing album! Her best album in my opinion! She fits nicely into the RnB Category and won several grammy and other prestigous awards for this album! Which is no suprise! Every track is fantastic! Each track could have been a single. She has really gone all out on this album and there are no 'filler' tracks on this album. This is an essential RnB album for RnB lovers. If you are not a gr8t Whitney fan but you like RnB then i encourage you to buy this album. You will not be dissapointed!

I have always liked Whitney for her briliant singing talents, but this is the first time in years that she has brought out on album worthy of her vocal talents. The album shines from the beginningb to the end. The tracks are astonishingly good and make this record one of the highlights of 1998. The best songs are the title track and "get it back". Her vocals seem to have adapted to the new R & B vibe. This album is a pure classic and needs to be purchased by all R & B fans.

Whitney suffered much criticism from ignorant people who thought her early music was "too white" or "not black" enough. This excellent album/CD, her best in my view, made it clear that the singer could easily produce quality black music and take it to the top, as only she could. She was indeed every woman and could do whatever she liked, and do it well. Her funeral is taking place today and I hope we can now enjoy her amazing art, which was about love and brilliance, not prejudice and ignorance. Thank you, Whitney. You've been heard ...and your love lives on.

The case the cd came in fell apart it was broken. THE CD looks scratched. state looks very poor it was not worth the postage.

Her best album yet!
The My Love is Your Love album is definitely one to buy. All the songs are great and not one really lets the album down at all. Her songs are catchy and have a good rhythm. Read more
